Hi guys,

Been meaning to start up on my own for a while now but certain things have held me back.

Anyway I've been looking into different vans and systems, and noticed ionics can do a monthly finance package for a new van and system, I'm not sure if I will be able to get a loan so will probably go down this route. Does anyone know if other companies offer this?

If you are thinking about setting up on your own, have you thought it through fully, you mention you  don't know weather or not you can get a loan, have you done a business plan? do you know how much money you need to live off each year, have you done a cash flow chart etc etc etc

One other thing, if you go down the finance road with Ionics for the Van and full set up just double check the small print to see if you are personally guaranteeing the finance ie IF you stop trading because you cannot make the business work , will you STILL have to make the monthly repayments OR make up the short fall in the finance,  would you be able to afford this ? lots to think about ......

if you can save ,and then buy a van system .its quite a pressure to pay the van debt as well as build a round.
i think really you need a bit of money behind you .not a lot but  about a months worth of expences to start.
starting with nothing can be done but isnt easy .

Hi started up almost two years ago with van & system but business partner left after 6 month  due to family relocation and have now put the van & system up for sale on this forum as cant run window cleaning business and my engineering business too. I bought the system from new and the van is in really good condition as they hardly got used, might save you from taking finance out if you want to buy nearly new
