Ionics systems are an expensive option for people who dont know or cant be bothered to find out about how to purify water to cean windows, the colour coded resin cannister is great for those who cant be bothered and are clearly too rich to buy a tds meter. My opinion is that it is all a complete waste of time and money buying Ionics as it is really not that technical to work out that tap water needs to go through a pre filters then a decent membrane via large diameter pipe then through resin if you are keen to get it to zero TDS and thats it. Save your money , get yourself a tank installed by a local mechanic/welder/bodyworker , get a pump and a controller from cleaning spot and call June at Gapswater and she wil tell you how to get pure water and supply you with the bits you need. This will save you a fortune and benefit you by understanding how it all works so when something goes wrong you can work it out yourself rather than get some overpaid numpty down who will charge you through the nose for some extortionate colour coded rainbow nonsense.
I travelled from southampton to swindon , I have a membership for village hotels gyms so had a workout then relaxed in the pool , sauna etc and its within walking distance .Service was really good as well .To get that price I had quotes from grippa and brodex by email .I negotiated all the quotes down but grippa wouldnt come down enough to get near pure2o .The poles I got from ionics were not brilliant though , a grafter 32 was included in that 2250 .
Hi LeeChange the Resin about every 8 weeks and the filters when due, had the system just over a year and changed them once, I think we have put about 230.000 lt of water through themMartin

Some of your remarks a right. I have always has issues with the resin that's why I fitted a DI.For me it was all about the fitting and a plug and play system, its now for the last two years a very cheap system to run as the fillters last for a very long time. My waste water is very low less than 20%. its all about what you want my system cost just under 3k Im happy.
