Accepting credit cards
« on: March 18, 2013, 06:13:13 pm »
Ok, we are getting asked this more and more but who can tell me the best (that means cheapest) way of accepting credit or debit cards, ideally it needs to be mobile, either as a stand alone machine or on my phone.

I use payatrader.
Or rather I have the means to use it but
have had it about 10 months now and not
one person as wanted to use it.
Predominantly cash and the odd cheque.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

I've only had mine for two months ( a Barclay card mobile terminal) and I've used about 10 times in fact 3,times today alone customers love it
It's not the cheapest but its good

Also I think customers will not like you putting there card details into your phone

Bump

It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

If anyone insists on trying to pay by card, I send them a paypal invoice and get them to pay it online by their credit card once I have finished..
Everyday this forum slips further from God.  :'(
