If it freezes in your DI vessel it's knackered..
I just have the DI vessels in the house, and filter the water straight into the van so I don't need to carry em about wi me
I've had bagged resin outside down to -19 & it didn't affect it.

That would be without water on it though was it?Yes. However, I'm pretty sure the resin bead does not actually absorb water into itself so is only suspended in the water. I think any problem with a freezing vessel isn't the resin but more likely riser tube seal etc.
