I think the payment issues are big factors in going for commercial work ........ I only do 3 commercial clients ....... two are paying within 30 days and the other (largest & well known) will have paid into my bank within a week of doing the work  ;)

Getting the clients is difficult, keeping them is harder but fine tuning your agreement is a bloody nightmare  ::)roll

Made a friendly visit to a local Indian restaurant last night because the invoice last October and subsequent reminders must all have been lost in the post or something

Then went to a pub who had been struggling since the end of September to find the combination to the safe so they could pay me.

I have a couple of slow payers on the domestic and landlord side of things too, at one point last year I was owed nearly £3k and I don't do big commercials!
