Hi,
I am just setting up and would like to know what carpet cleaner you would recommend.  The prices vary hugely, and I can't seem to see why there is so much of a price difference.  I want would like to deep clean and steam clean?

Any recommendations?  Thanks

Deb min twin vac 135psi I use a alltec 40 and has been reliable for over 10 years  customer service is excellent .
They also offer training as do prochem solutions ncca

Most electric portable High Pressure Hot Water Extraction ( HWE) machines are actually pretty similar. They use the same vacuum units and pretty similar water pumps.

Any twin vac machine will do - I'd suggest whatever turns up secondhand in good condition. "Steam cleaning" is a misnomer, they all use warmwater.

Training? IICRC have we'll recognised qualifications, second Alltec as training providers for this, and good service for machines.

Followed the Alltec path a few years ago. I have the Advance 600 and can't fault the machine, and the training was a good starting point. I did the NCCA course first and that was great too.

Agree with Cust Service from Alltec. Has always been great.

You have to think though, can a woman man handle pardon the pun! a machine into her vehicle? these machines are rather heavy! and the likes of the airflex and enforcer are pretty heavy

Yep, that is a concern.  I'd definitely need a one that was slightly easier-to-manoeuvre and lift. I've checked out the ones that are classed as lighter in weight, but I'm doubtful whether they'd have the same power behind them.  What do you recon?

I'm at Langley Park, about 4 miles from Durham, on the Consett road, i think i've noticed your website, when I checked out carpet cleaners Durham and looked into domains, well done on the SEO by the way, you came up near the top every time :-)  , have you been doing this long?

The airflex pro's are quite light'ish. If your just taken it in and out of the van then its really not that hard to do. Its more of a tilting manoeuver  than actaul lifting!

Very easy to move about!

Just make sure the machine is empty of water before putting it in the van.

CleanSmart also do carpet cleaning courses when you buy thier machines.
