You can clean this stuff 3 months after its been planted or it will up root.
I use a high speed buffer with a black pad. Just lightly mist with soya sauce ( got that tip off Derek the ceramic king
).
Dont forget to post spray with weed killer.

I have an Astroturf lawn, the best thing ever i love it, it was expensive but it looks so neat and tidy all year round very realistic too, it's made from polyprop just like the carpet.
