We are planning a Monthly CIU Quiz which is intended not to be easy!   The quiz will cover questions on Hard Floor Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Window Cleaning and Pressure Washing! amongst other things.   Rather than me set all the questions I am asking for Professionals in their field to set a few questions on their specific field of Expertise!  Simples!

So do we have a Pro Carpet Cleaner who knows their onions and is prepared to e mail me with some sensible questions?

google will kill any online quiz, give me enough time and i will give the right answer to any question ;)...

Eg: which carpet fibre melts at 170C?
A) Nylon6.6
B) Nylon6.
C) Acrylic
D) Polyester

or...

Bombyx mori is commonly known to carpet cleaners as what?

I'm no carpet king but if you need some questions i could help you out, when do you need them for?

Set it up multi choice with a count down timer like the pub machines. They wont have time to look it up. There's a technical challenge for you.  ;D
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

The general idea is you will need to use Google for some of the answers!  i.e. I know SFA about carpets so if I was entering it I would have to use Google for the carpet bit but it's the 1st Correct answer that wins it!  Not easy I promise you even with Google:

Try these on Google

1.  What is planimetric tolerance and why it may affect a Tiler laying a floor?

2.  You have to clean the walls of a pair of Semi Detached Houses in a street.  The two houses have areas of walls to be cleaned which measure  19.75 metres wide by 4.72 Metres High on the Front & Rear Elevations and 8.25 x 4.72 Metres on the side elevations.  It takes you 13.5 Minutes and 800 mls of cleaning fluid to clean a M2.  Your hourly charges are £29 and the cleaning fluid costs £6.70 a litre.  When you get paid how much will you have after deducting the cost of the product.  Finally all Doors and Windows in each house measure a total of 15M2 per house and need to be deducted

See how long those take you to answer on Google

Hi Guys

I make it £273 assuming the 19.75 is for both houses.

Cheers
