Had a spell last year where just couldnt get going ... think it happens top us all at some point.

I cured mine by selling a round I didnt particular enjoy anymore ... took 3 to 4 days to do so eased off the gas a little and money was good thru winter but now building back up with better paying jobs. Hadnt really stopped for 3 years so felt I had earned an easy few months.

i prefer monthly to 4 weekly as most months have 21 to 23 Mondays to Fridays so if you spread work over 20 days you still have a few spare for bad weather delays or long weekends  ........ Saturdays reserved otherwise for canvassing, first cleans, conny roofs etc etc, plus stops em saying "oooooo is it that time again already"  :)

I used to suffer from that occasionally untill I worked out that it was due to doing jobs that were a pain in the backside.

Since then I've been slowly getting rid of PITA jobs no matter how well they pay. It seems to have worked for me.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

If jobs are due then I crack on and get them done - if they aren't due or 'don't need to be done' why on earth are you doing them now?
If you've caught up take a day off ffs  ;D

Why not get a helper 2 days a week cowboy. At least then when you cant be bothered you have someone with you to bang through the work so you still earn a decent days money while just sitting in the van.

i very rarely suffer from low motivation these days but i have done from time to time.

i dont want to be window cleaning 5 or 6 days every week.week in/week out so I DONT!! ;D ;D

i also work mainly on a calendar monthly schedule for lots of my work with 2 monthly/6 weekly as and when.

i can get most of my work cleaned in 3/3 and half weeks a month so it allows space for a break.

i also finish around 3 or 4pm most days and can easily keep up with my 340 customers.i also have a lot more better paying jobs than i did a few years ago and use the best equipment and lightest poles i can afford.

im very organised and have a strong work ethic when actually working allowing me to make more money in less time than ever before.

not drinking/giving up smoking, swimming and generally looking after myself a bit more has made a massive difference in my energy and attitude to my work.

also having other interest and hobbies help (away from window cleaning)which stops me getting too bored with it all.

very best wishes
