At the moment I use gardeners ckx 27, but its starting to annoy me how bendy they are when using over conny roofs and at awkward angles. I keep thinking of getting a couple of brodex poles as surely the alloy ones arw very rigid. And before it starts weight is not and issue to me as I aint no small wee lad lol. Opinions please and also I will not but a slx as I want a pole that will last longer that 1 year

slx are made of carbon fibre , last a lot longer than the clx that you have, no matter how big and strong you are theres no point in making your day any harder than it need be, also shoulders go very easy on anyone

Then why not use a lamp post or a wooden telephone pole.

It seems then that your mind is made up.
My experience of Brodex has been poor. Their customer service is poor to most, the 3 year pole guaranty seems to be a farce (to what I've read on here) and using a heavier metal pole is progress from a whippy one.

i use pheonix pro 22 great pole, very rigid for carbon composite.Might treat myself to an slx next year and see what everyones raving about.

It's your money spend it how you want but I've been using slx's since they came out and have yet to wear one out. I just keep product updating.

The brodex won't be anymore rigid than a clx and you might want to do a bit of research on the guarantee. If its for workers then I suppose why worry about getting the lightest pole, it depends what kind of operation you run. Good workers with the best equipment will make a good profit, the opposite is pay peanuts get monkeys.
