We knew a window cleaner a couple years back who only did shops, no domestic. Does anyone here do that anymore?

From what I read on this forum, I get the impression that most cleaners seem to complain about how very low the payments are, unless you have lots of shops in a high street, something that is diminishing.

Then others here say how wonderful they're doing cleaning 'all' the shops.

Personally I haven't got any.

two guys in my town do nothing but shops, one is close to retiring though as is not bothered about losing a few to nationals, the other only does it part time now, my brother and dad before him were 100% commercial and actually shops were not high on their priority's but now my brother is doing domestic work he would have never done before

theres a little old bloke does loads round my way,charges not much and is terrible,smears and runs everywhere.soaps the windows with a mop.was asked to do one once and gave a price of a tenner its ok ernie does them for 2 quid.
everytime i see him he looks smaller.
he probably does 20 shops a day at 2 quid each.

I do 80% commercial and 20% domestic when it rains shops are great but tbh the shops are a pain in the hoop due to low price I sub contract asdas tescos etc and for what you get for a tesco I could make in 2 hrs doing a decent domestic run with two men

We used to have a team of 2 guys doing national contractor shop work 5 days a week.

The company that we were doing them for were actually paying decent money at the time, all good things come to an end though.

Some of the prices that I'm hearing now are absolutely disgusting and impossible to make pay. We were doing around £2k a week worth of just shops. To do that now you'd have to be doing about 400 shops a week.
