Hi guys  I just started my very first pure water PRODUCTION lol  -  and  I can't get it  lower than 003 -  will it be enough to do  a  good job  or  I  have  to  bring it 000 ?

Why my system doesn't  purify  to 000 ? shall I replace the DI resin ?  - it came with the unit pre-filled  .  a 250 GPD kit

last  question -  do you know if  I can actually store the water in few plastic containers (25 L)  for a while ? and it  will be at  the same TDS reading when I want to use it ?

I don't do a lot of WFP  -  only once  a week  - so I thought to  produce  about 200 L of  water in weekend - which will last me  a long  while .

Mine is at 0 but let it go to 5. Yes you are fine storing for a while

Firstly 003 should be fine to use. Infact many use up to 010 to 015 before changing resin.  Your technique is probably more important for your finishing result rather than whether your using 000 or 010.

Secondly, yes storing water in containers is fine.  That is what those with a static tank at home do basically.

Thirdly, you ought to investigate why you are getting 003 as opposed to 000.  Is this a new setup?  How old is the resin?

It  is  a new  set up -  yes  .  Is my first  one . I have no idea  how old is the resin .  However  today is the first  time when I connected it to the tap

Is it an RO + DI? Or DI only?

If its ro di then you need to turn the water on for a couple of mins before conecring it to the di as the first lot it makes will have a high tds. Also check how high the tds is coming out the ro before di

It is  a  small ro/di unit  -    now  is  a bit  better  -  has dropped to 002 after  an  hr  of  running  the  water  throw

sorry  mate  - I am not  very familiar with the system

I thought that even is the first time I use the DI vesel - the resin itself might be old  because  was  kept / stored by the seller   - a  year or  so  : )
