I can understand best pole/squeegee/hose/ but flipping heck, next it'll be what's the best house to buy for a static ibc.  

Blimey if you've got 10k or access to the credit, you must know what you want.

For economy and handling it is always good to get something with a bit of 'leeway' on the payload.

We run a 650 litre system and have had this fitted in a Transporter T32 T5 102PS for the last four years, great solid van - but I cannot really recommend it fully due to being FWD with all of that weight in the rear. Down here in rural Cornwall with very narrow and steep lanes it has really struggled with traction and power.

We have just changed vans and bought a Mercedes Vito Automatic 3.0 V6 RWD Dual-Liner (rear seats removed and stored). This is also galvanized and feels every bit as solid as the T5. We have fitted a new 650 litre system in the back. This is by far a better vehicle for our specific needs than the Transporter. It is only about 2mpg more thirsty than the transporter and is so much better on the roads we need to access. It also drives better, feels more car like and far more comfortable. For me this is the best works vehicle I have used so far.

I had a t30 130 5cyl( like alex said,the 102bhp 4cyl are rubbish with a load)and with a 650ltr in the back and you could race cars with it. If you're mainly domestic then they are pointless,too big to get in and out of driveways and country lanes scrape the sides. For a one man set up then a connect 230 is the van too have. 900kg payload and just the right size. Don't worry about your ego,get something that does the job

Bought it at about 15months old with 24,000 miles on the clock in immaculate condition (ex Mercedes manager's vehicle) for about £18,000. I thought that this was a good buy.

My iload is RWD (2500cc diesel - 115bhp but a massive torque figure of 343nm) and cost less than £16K brand new with a 5year warranty.

The iLoad is a good van & I like them. We did look at these 4 years ago when we got the Transporter. However they were not galvanized and the payload was going to be a little tight for us.
