Im SLX or CLX  cant decide I want a quality pole that will last a few
years.
I hear the SLX is a better pole but the CLX will last a lot longer.
Not earning the millions that some guys are earning on this forum
so dont want to be replacing a pole every few months.

I've the CLX 27 and I find it quite bendy at full length.

Not a bad pole but 27 ft not quite long enough for some of our three storey work.

Alex Gardiner himself has posted on here thet the SLX will last longer and as such constitutes better value.

The 35' option is better and for what we do should be fine, just hope it's not too bendy. If we WC'd all day every day I'd have gone for the extreme, almost did anyway but not sure I could justify the extra cost.

The clx and slx are excellent poles. I have both, but prefer the slx, for it is more rigid when at height than the clx, more precise and imo easier to work with, easier on the muscles than the clx. I have had both poles for 2yrs now and still going strong. The slx is used most often, with the clx used mainly on bungalows.
If your budget stretches to it, the slx is an excellent purchase. The 25slx will cover almost all your domestic work.

If you are buying the 35slx it might be handy to buy a 25slx base section so when you aren't doing your 3 storey work it can be stripped down to the 25. Just a thought.

I'll see how it goes but thanks for the tip.

My current slx30 is coming up to 2 years of solid use.

Apart from the very tops of a couple of sections being worn and spinning its still a great everyday pole.

I'd go slx, you won't be disappointed.

SLX 18" covers the majority of my domestic work.  I've a CLX 27" for higher stuff.

I think houses in Chestow aren't as high as other places though; the Welsh are only small, hairy and Neanderthal like; the knuckle scrapers.
