I almost bought an SLX 35 in the sale but held back as I worried about the flex. Thought more about the extreme + 44' (I think).

From reading a fair bit the obvious thing will be the pole rigidity. This is a big thing for me as it's a real drain using a pole that's too bendy as it just amplifies the weight of the brush etc.

I'm at the cleaning show in a couple of weeks or so and will be trying as many out as are there and then most likely buy based on how the poles feel.

I can't see Gardiners as exhibitors, which is a shame as they would be my favourite pre-show. Anyone know if they are going?

Fully extended with the gooseneck combination it will have less flex than your SLX 18 fully extended.  It really is what you imagine a near perfect pole to be. I doubt that you will ever think about buying anything without the word xtreme in the title.

Simon.

Really, in a second hand pole?
I always got the impression he was a generous sort of guy, not the sort who bought second hand gear.
(sorry Bob!)
