« on: February 27, 2013, 05:06:27 pm »
As the title say How long does your Pole hose last ?

Mine lasts a few months before it starts cracking or get holes in it i went out this morning and before i could get any real work done pole hose was leaking and i had a wet leg :'( :'(

I'm going to look at getting a stock of these items so i don't loose time off work, maybe have a spare replacement pole hose in the van etc  :( :(

Generally the life of the pole but if it's too bent at the bottom and goes from hot to cold it can split but its rare.

My Aquadapter Orange hose lasted fifteen minutes!
The red Aquadapter hose I managed a week with - but I found I was losing too much hair.
Gardiners hose - about three months then I stopped using it. I think they have some new stuff on the way.
Sureclean hose - about a year.
Streamlite 5 lasts ages but needs barbed inserts for push fit connections.

Save yourself the 20 seconds and specify the pole without the hose (always an option on our website). Saves wasting something that someone else can use  :)

I use a pole tidy so wrap my hose sadly the gardiners hose only last's around a month this way i always keep a spare length in the car so can change on the job . I do hope the next lot of gardiners hose they bring out can be more robust as the pole's are second to none

The hose I got with my CLX is brilliant. Never twists or kinks or tears. Much better than the Pure Freedom pole hose which does all three of those.

I hate the ionics hose its bloody terrible stiff as a board and kinks terrible .
I bought a fiberglass pole from the cleaning warehouse and much prefer the hose that came with that .

Or send it to me my gardiners pole hose cracked yesterday and they are out of stock, so i had to buy red aqua-dapter hose instead  :(

I think it must be due to the way i store my hose in a down pipe mounted to the roof of the van and standing the pole up against the wall the hose always goes at the base of the pole.

X2 but my 3 year old clx has just sprung a leak, i think l might of caught it on a bush when using hot. Otherwise im sure it would last until i retire the pole.
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.
