I had one of these machines delivered last Friday, unpacked it, filled solution tank, switched on machine, squeezed trigger and waited for solution to come through – nothing, held trigger on for short while thinking it’s new and needs priming. Then I notice the carpet under the machine is soaking wet and water spreading, (panic) move machine and start extracting water. Because the pump and the vac motor work off one switch while I’m extracting the dumped water the machine is busy dumping more water where I’ve just moved it too, again soaking carpet and underlay, switch machine off (swearing my head off) I rush out to the van and use the Airflex to extract as much water as I can. Phone Woodbridge and explain what had happened and that now I have to replace underlay in affected area (that fell on death ears). Guy on phone say’s that shouldn’t of happened (really) and says he’ll get someone to call me back, (long story short) End up taking the machine back to them on the Monday morning (120 mile round trip) Guy takes machine into workshop and returns to tell me it had a loose hose (no poope). Gives me a full refund minus their delivery charge. I again explain the costs I had incurred in this transaction and that I felt that they were taking the pee deducting their delivery charge, their response – were not legally obliged to refund the delivery charge. In conclusion – the machine may be okay if tested and made ready before shipping - the supplier is crap.
