 Why do customers always blame the window cleaner,when you cleaned my windows last did you brake my alarm box,you peeled off the lead from my windows,you broke my back gate last time you cleaned,we got burgled do you know anything about it,it drives me mad.Had a great one tonight,the lady across the road saw you cleaning the windows,and she said you cleaned them to quickly so i dont want them cleaned anymore,dont you just love it,the customers always right, (DONT THINK SO)

Somebody once accused me of trampling down atleast 20 daffodils in their garden,

I knew that I was dealing with a moaning old bag as I was sure that it was way under 10.

I've never been back since.

I was once accused of breaking 2 panels of a fence.

I told the lady the truth. I did not touch a single panel of her fence.

When I open the side gate, a big home made bodged heavy wooden gate, the rusty hinges broke and it was the gate falling on the panels that caused them to break. The top hinge broke first, the gate then went sideways and fell on the fence, damaging the panels, and the bottom hinge then broke also.

When I left, I shoved the gate back into it's frame. When hubby came home, he went to pull the gate open it and it fell on top of him.

He then assumed he broke the gate, and on seeing the fence, and finding out the window cleaner had been, assumed I had done that.

I broke tiles on a sloping roof apparently, don't know how I did them wfp same customer, I then scratched a side window that I did not know even existed and it had never been cleaned both times she owed me three cleans

One Saturday evening, someone smashed her front door in, and was found in her kitchen with a bleeding hand. His excuse was that he was being chased by a group of blokes, and only broke in to hide?!

When I went round to clean her windows a week or so later, she asked me if the police had called me, which they had not, with regards to the break in at her house.

Confused, I asked why would they phone me? She said that she had no idea who he was and thought he looked like one of the lads that worked for me.

I continued for another couple cleans, but then she phoned and cancelled due to building work... but I still pass her house most days and there hasent been any work going on there

I always got on well with her mind, and she was always polite and pleased to see us. Strange
