So ordered number 3,4 and 5 clamps to replace top three sections on slx 25,base section clamp is fine.

Pole is one with top screwthread,no quick release.

Went to replace today but turns out I need 2,3 and 4,which makes sense.

 5 fits base section which I dont need.

But if no 3 fits first clamp section on slx 25 surely the link above is wrong?

it is a fair question to ask members on here, that is how it reads to me mike

when you look at the no.2 clamp the description is different so I think that is an error on the 3 section description

It's because you got an older SLX mate. The newer ones have a smaller diameter first section, hence the confusion.

I don't really understand the confusion.
It says that no.3 clamp will fit on the 1st clamped section of the slx-25, eg. the 2nd pole section.
No.4 clamp will fit the 2nd clamped section, eg. the 3rd pole section etc.
That's how it reads to me anyway?

thought it better to ask on here as not havin a dig and there is no problem just need to work this out..

Pole was bought end april 2010,think a month before slx25 became part of the supermax so thought it was older slx but not sure now.

I think that where the confusion has come in is the website description. It failed to mention that after May 2010 the SLX25 became standardized with the rest of the range. Prior to this the SLX25 used larger sections. The problem is that I first listed these replacement clamps before the pole change was made and I had failed to note that the description needing updating. My apologies to you!

So I have the mark 2 pole? clamp 2 fits section 2 etc.
