Re: 1st complaint with WFP

Hi Everyone
Just had my 1st complaint with wfp, cleaned large bungalow this afternoon for 1st time, woman had sacked last window cleaner as she was not happy with his work he was trad so i told her i would be cleaning them a different way, anyway cleaned very thoroughly and left as no one was home, got a phone call just now and she said she was not happy with all the water around the house and the water on the sills, what would you do??? ??? ???

How did you leave it?

My response when they complain over the phone is to say "If you change your mind and want me to carry on give me a call"

They often panic and backtrack,  if they don't just let her go. She sounds like a PITA.

I love that.

Once a messer, always a messer.

Its hard to do trad window cleaning wrong, it sounds to me like hassling window cleaners is her hobby.

Drop her and move on

I left it with - wait until tomorrow when it is dry and see if you are happy.I will go and collect money tomorrow and see what she says :),i think i will suggest i will wipe the sills next time when finished but if i get a bad vibe or she gets cheeky i will call it a day. :)

Why? They dry clean anyway. I wipe the odd one where dirt keeps flushing out mind you.

I think i will try that Bumper as its £17 for 25 mins,it just makes you want to do rolly eyes though ::)roll ::)roll

You'd be making a rod for your own back.

If her windows are looking great after your clean and no fault can be found with cleaning using the WFP method then if the only argument she has that the windows are left wet after your clean then WFP is not an option for her property. She does sound like a professional moaner, so it's your choice whether to keep her as a customer, sometimes customers are too hard to please, this is when you have to remember that not all business is good business  ;)

I did that for about 3 years then thought what the heck am i doing? i now wfp bottoms too way quicker, better job.

Yes one or two moaners but these are the people that moan no matter what you do so you might as well do it your way!

And my way is what ever is quickest and earns me the most money.
