I understand, the link on the blog shows the way one customer found to be the best way to use the hose.
I'd recommend only coiling it loosely when packing it away.
I don't know when you bought it, but we also produce it in larger coils now, to stop it wanting to return to too small a coil. The way it's stored and coiled can also affect the way it responds.
Something else you could try is to but the hose into some hot water for a few seconds. Take it out, coil it loosely into large loops and store it like that. Hopefully the next time you use it, it will behave better for you.
Generally it's the storage and twisting that cause issues for people. We don't have any problems with it, but then I guess we're more conscious of it as it's ours. It makes it a little harder to understand what others are doing with it that causes such a different reaction.
