problems with pressure adjustment valve on boxer 318
« on: February 06, 2013, 07:35:53 pm »
 Hi everyone.

On my last job today my pressure valve (where I adjust the psi up or down on the machine) has decided to leak profusely just behind a big soring.  I have a really important job tom that I cant rearrange and it must be done with a TM. Is there anything I can do to fix it asap?
Many thanks
Luc

the washer has worn this will need replacing, its a flat type rubber washer some times you can undue it and see if you can straighten it out and then replace it, it can then work again short term but as you adjust the psi it will start to leak again

As long as you can get pressure and you can put up with a bit water in your van it will not be detrimental to run it as it is until time you can get it fixed.
