Well this is my very 1st go at cleaning a Tiled floor big thanks for all help and info off Kev Martin talked me through step by step Cheers Kev. I used Aquamix HDT+G with 220 Hone powder and came up a treat. Will be definitely booking on a course in the future as theres a lot of Hard floors about just need work to come in lol.

Did you upsell them colour sealing of the grout or an impregnator for it?

No Jamie don't know about stuff like that I'm a total noob I was just asked and said il clean them got advice off Kev and just done it I am going to get into it more as I'm dead on carpet side just need money to go on course no work no money it does my head in lol.l

Lookin at those pictures now you can see just how much emulsified dirt and crap there was in those grout joints and on the face of the tile.  The grout Joints look half the width now all the crap is out of them.

Done this as a tester in Rugby Club Toilet grout would of lighten when dry its still wet.

Another resounding success!  Don't forget to upsell them by sealing a small area in the middle of the test patch with Aqua Mix Pro Solve or Aqua Mix Ultra Solve then ask them for feedback from the cleaners in a week because their cleaners will find the part that is sealed will be easier to clean and it will stay clean!

I don't think they have cleaners lol i asked if i could do it to test thats all also Kev what do you use to get in corners and around sinks n toilets etc.

I use a combination of things;

I have small 13" Rotary for smaller areas then We also use Deck & Grout Scrubber as well as hand held emulsifying pads.

Great name PM, we've got a name sake product that will give you those excellent results, never needed to use honing powder with this product though. Nice photo's

What we need to do is meet at a venue with a floor like this and you can bring your Alkaline product and I wil turn up with our Aqua Mix Heavy Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner and some Honing Powder and do half the floor each.  Then you will be able to compare the results!

Do you want me to find a floor like this so we can try it???

Because I have tried your product in a similar test already and the results were much better using the honing powder in conjunction with the cleaner!!!

As you say it's all about experiences and in my experience with 12 years cleaning and restoring I've never found the need to use honing powders in conjunction with a quality floor cleaner, expecially something so basic as a ceramic or porcelain tile.

I think your find the masses will say the same, the masses being the manufacturers of specilaist cleaning and sealing products, otherwise as a manufacturer we would produce these simple powders, as you know the majority of manufacuters in the UK and Eurpoe don't offer these powders.

I am confident your process works very well, but as you know there are many products and processes that also work very well. We have our own likes and dislikes, I'm not a fan and don't think they are as necessary to use as you do.

The powder in your link is just a basic AO Powder and only goes to 220 grit.  Ours are a lot different and result in 4 years of R&D and come in 60, 100, 220, 320, 400 & 800 Grit and very soon in 1200 Grit. 

But my post wasn't about that!   It was about whether you fancied meeting me on a similar floor and comparing the products you sell in performance and results!  I will use our Aqua Mix Heavy Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner and some of our Honing Powder and you use just your cleaner, we can then do before and after results and photos and I will publish it all on here!

Welcome to the forums.  The type of machine used was a Mono Speed Rotary 150-175rpm fitted with a soft to medium brush.
