I was fed up of using cheapies at a rate of about a pair a week. Well worth the bit of extra IMO.

I am going to even use them when i drill my berlingos floor to fit its new 350ltr tank and cage

I been using showas 377 for ages I'd say a pair a month from my regular supplier about £45 a year they always split new the thumb , do you see any signs of wear might give these a try they ain't that much more

They have worn well, they are just starting to wear thin in the area we all know goes first. I hasnt helped having all the slush and ice wearing away at that point. I think without the ice they would last 4 to 5 months. hope this helps.

Youngstown are great gloves. After a year, my first pair have been showing wear recently and finally the waterproof went on Friday so just ordered some more. They had got pricey but now a reasonable £25 again.

Which ones have you got, the general utility or the XT type? Also, are these winter or summer gloves? Finally i concede sealskinz aren't up to wfp work, great for when I was trad though.

The waterproof membrane has ben visible for a week or two with split seams from wear, but it split the other day. But I had over a year out of them.

whats the link to the gloves you wear Steve ? I have been looking for years to find a lagoons pair of gloves that stand up to 8hour use with a pole each day, yet to find ones that last longer than a month or so

I've got the same ones, I've found they wear out too quickly maybe I am gripping my pole too hard

My Joka polar gloves have just gone inbetween the thumb and index finger, only 3 months old...not happy...

The last pair that I left on a job were still bob on at nearly a year old...

Hmmm. My first pair lasted a year. I just bought another pair and 2/3 weeks in they are fine.
