Can anyone recommend a good pair of shoes for window cleaning ie lightweight, good grip on ladder & roofs etc

They must be leather & leather lined

Preferably available online

i agree with gav.  they last about 4 years.  last year i bought the 'lifetime guarantee' doc martens.  they cost £135 but whenever they wear they they will replace them.  dont ever need to buy a pair of boots again.

They only lasted around 2 months. Didn't even last the cold spell.

2nd vote for doc's, wore out my lace ups last year so have gone for the Chelsea slip on boot this time, much easier and you know they'll last, not the most stylish but I'm heading towards 50 so I'll get away with it. ;D

If you don't think the Chelsea boot is stylish, get down to specsaver man.

Hi Simon, yep that's me, I still clean some of the town houses just the end of terrace ones now though thankfully, managed to weed the others out.
