I did see this a while back... its basically a hot water pressure washer with a little petrol engine to drive the pump... dont like the idea of having half on the van and half on the doorstep... its either a van mount or its not a van mount...
At least with my setup everything ran from the van with a fresh water tank... i just had to run the cables to the customers sockets.

What put you off using a Zeta along with a porty?

Personnaly I think this kind of arrangment is the future. Plenty of heat from a diesel burner, = nice low running costs'.

More than enough pressure from the pump, would get it running off the domestic AC supply rather than a small donkey engine, again low running cost's.

Not so sure about the extractor in this case, but a decent porty with auto pump out will sort out the suction side of things, again easy to maintain and cheap to run.

Forget about those long, time consuming hose runs. Just take the porty to where ever its required.

Nothing put me off using the Zeta with the Jag, in most cases its just easier to off load the jag and use a shorter hose run. The Zeta just provided a constant source of hot water which is very useful especially when working on greasy carpets... also handy having up to 1700 psi of hot water for tile and grout.
The heated pressure washer in the vid looks like a great bit of kit... im just not sold on the CFX machine...
A machine which was all diesel would be even better...

How did the Zeta cope with the constant switching on/off of the burner when being used with a carpet wand?

Also can it be used below 500psi and still produce hot water?

I agree Shaun its alot o dough for what it is...
The Zeta had a flow switch which would activate the burner, the motor was a constant run and when the trigger was closed the pump would re circulate cold water.
From memory a 2 jet wand could allow the user to lower the machine pressure to around 150 psi and still provide heat... as long as there is sufficient flow the burner would fire up..
Hand tools with tiny little jet would create a little too much back pressure and not enough flow to use the machine with heat... unless an inline bypass is opened slightly... but the who want s to clean upholstery with piping hot water?

At least with a separate porty and hot water pressure washer, each machine can work independently.

you could make a version of the rotavac shark using the zeta and this mytee flood hog for about half the rotavac cost ....

plus the floodhog has two of the most advanced Electro motors and better pumpout .

Steam-brite have had the Goliath set up for several years with quad vac's,  500psi,  heat exchanger, auto fill / dump and available in 230 volts

It's a compact but very powerful machine
