Sorry to hijack but when running my pump yesterday water was not coming out at full flow so i turn the my varistream controller up to 80 then it stopped and flashed PS , What does the PS mean Also when i turn the it down to 30 the pump kicked in again . My tank was running a bit low and had drawn some air into the pump but it was not that low . Mike
Crystal. It 100 percent is the brushes inside mate. I had same issue, replace them and all will be fine, or better still if pump is few years old just replace it.
Mick, dont be bullied! I took 100% as a sign of your enthusiasm. You stick with it man, 100%. Your mate Nick.

The pressure in your system has built up to high levels and the pump pressure switch cuts in to stop the pump. The controller is reporting what it see,s here and is not activating the pressure switch. Something is causing a high pressure build up in your system, Check for any grit or dirt in the brush head and jets and ensure the hose is not badly twisted or kinked. Have you changed any fittings or hose recently also did you find the high pressure was happening during very cold temps? It may be worth recalibrating the controller to take into account the higher pressure in your system.
