Stair tool problem
« on: January 24, 2013, 01:26:17 pm »
I've got a Prochem stair tool for HWE (stairs). It's fine apart from the fact that the solution hose coupling sticks out at a jaunty angle to the left.  I find this a PITA! is it my technique?

What's the secret?  I think I'll have to change the coupling for a straight one.

These were fitted like this to aid you from 'bumping' into the next step down.

Shoud be fairly easy to just change the coupling!!

Really! But the vac hose is straight, meaning there's two ways to bump into the step, rather than one.  I'll get it changed over.  Tnx Fran.

Ummm, I've had a better look - it's not possible to put a straight coupling on because it will mean the trigger gets fouled.  I could rotate the coupling so it's angles downwards (instead of sideways), but that would probably mean I'd catch the carpet on the coupling with 'normal' strokes.

Ah well... I guess the designers aren't that daft after all.
