Snow-Go today
« on: January 21, 2013, 10:53:30 am »
Just back from my skiing holiday - loads of snow, no problems with transport all the way from 3600m at Les Deux Alps to Grenoble airport (and MANC to home) yesterday.

Monday morning, I can't get off my drive.  I've had to cancelled work for today!

...l, it does not look that bad David!
I'd just spent 30 minutes clearing the drive/path only an hour before this photo, AND the snowplough had past through a few minutes before. Oh, and the job was up a steep hill to a dead-end.

But the real clincher was that my chickens decided not to come out their coop today  :)

Hi Guys

I too rearranged my two jobs for the day, found a council salt bin and did my whole road, so ready to rock tomorrow.

Not worth risking getting the TM stuck or worse van damaged.

Cheers

I'm in the area of South Wales that was put on red alert over the weekend. I managed to dig the van out earlier, reversed it up the path, then couldn't drive off cos the gear linkage was frozen and I couldn't get into 1st or 2nd!

Finally managed to get going, just dropping off and collecting some rugs.

Well been out today and its been fine even in remote areas. Still getting calls to postpone 'till the weather is better'. 2015?

We have had thick snow since last Monday  only did 2 full days last week, this week we had 2 days pressurewashing which has been rebooked.

We've got tomorrow & Thursday booked up with carpet cleaning so will have to dig out the van.

Only had 2 jobs booked in since the snow fell, it just kills the calls dead

Been snowing here since around 4am, got some guys out working in Gateshead and Whitley Bay but had to cancel a job in Rothbury as the road across the moors is all blocked off, just heard a service bus has crashed into a wagon on a bridge in Alnwick.

Drive carefully if you're on the roads today.

Been out doing my good deeds clearing mine and the neighbours (shes 80+) driveways of snow.

Airflex Mini Pro version - correct (at the moment), amongst other machines and tools of course.

Tnx for the positive words about the branding everyone.  It's made a splash around Macclesfield  :)
