I think I have stumble across the part that switches the heater off.Its called a ODE its senses the heat of the heater and switches it off if it gets to hot.Not sure if I should tell though.

Ye it's at the top  middle of the unit when ye
Take the back off

Simple to remove

Dont do it , its there for a reason , corwoods may well do this , but at what price .
I once had a domestic boiler go bang , the heat exchanger burst due to over heat , flames and water all over the place .
Not the same kettle of fish i know , but for the sake of stopping the flow every 15 mins whats the hardship , i would rather lose 4 miutes an hour than my van .

Plus the insurance would never pay you !!

Dont do it , its there for a reason ,

The reason its there is if you forget to switch it off or leave it running unattended. The thermostat will shut it down if it overheats. But in anycase if a unit did overheat and blow up it won't help it if it switches off 20 mins after it did.

Right then , this ODE thing senses temp , if you remove it how does this stop the 20 minute timer , i am at a loss as to how the ODE works , i thought the 20 minute timer was maybe dealt with by means of a PCB ?

Anybody want to clear this up for me as i am a bit fick

You're right - the 20 min timer is built into the ignition unit PCB. There is no way to disable it & tampering with the overheat sensor will not stop the 20 min cutout!
