Van stolen Manchester
« on: January 17, 2013, 08:32:18 am »
Vehicle theft of one of our members in the Stockport /Manchester area yesterday morning 10.00am.  His employee was setting up his WFP equipment at the back of his White Ford Transit van was sat in the driver seat – engine running & doing some paperwork….when his employee shouted him for some assistance….he climbed out and went to the rear of the vehicle….when some low-life jumped in and sped of…wheels spinning!  This almost killed his employee because he was hooked to the pole with a belt and panicked to undo it – but fortunately the hose reel came free from the van.
•   How many people have started up their vehicle and left it running on the current frosty mornings!!  TAKE HEED..
•   Owner was sat keeping warm and only jumped out for a second.  Purchased HIS 2008 immaculate Low wheeled based white Ford Transit last year and fitted it with storage tank etc…..he is devastated!
•   Maybe someone has seen a white Ford un-signed van – with a ladder on the back door Rhino roof bars.

I can't believe it , when do these people think they are going to steel a van it must be just Opportunists scum who Seize the moment , there has been alot of cases of stolen wfp vans What do they want to do the vans anyway cos they can't sell something that's registered stolen , as for the kit sure but to sell something worth while its gona have to be put on eBay or gumtree or something and that's when I hope they are caught

Especially if it was sign-written. Mental.

Lucky fella getting unhooked. If he'd not been able to do that things would be a whole lot different.
