« on: January 16, 2013, 09:57:54 pm »
i live in a rural area, plenty of houses but concentrated my cleaning in local town especially new estates.picked up a few houses in the countryside but think i will try and develop this side of my business this year and drop the estates gradually as they are harder to access the back of as most people have locked side gates for security reasons.anyone have a similar experience or what do you think?

Started out in town when I walked around at 16, gradually went rural. Love it. Never looked back. I climb 2 gates a month, deal with generally a nicer class of people, earn more hourly and have beautiful surroundings. What's not to like?

Find 90% of work out of my town, in all the villages surrounding. Good payers, no trouble, just a few extra miles to drive. Not many wfp guys go out in the villages so it's great for me!

i have a good mix of very, very compact estate work(90+ on one estate.70+ on the other across the road),lots of pockets of large domestics and stand alone properties, blocks of flats and medium commercial(offices, big nurseries, etc).

most are in affluent areas with lots of farm land and countryside around.love it! ;D ;D

im very fortunate but ive spent years and years building my work up in these areas. ;) :) :)
price higher/work harder!

No parking issues (generally) with rural type work too.
