Wow, 104, well done Sir!

Now, that's a gross income of £5,720 [to date] (@£55 per ticket) and before I buy mine  ::)roll could you please tell me if this is a non profit event, (as I have read) will we see a full break down of costs on here (or the TACCA website) and where will any profit/surplus be going?

Thank you.

Why should that matter to you?

For £55.00 you would get a day of training on subjects that most courses do not teach. You would get tips that they would not tell you, from people who have the experience and are willing to pass it on. You would get fed at lunch and the evening.

Who gives a flying toss if there is any profit from it? If the guys doing the training (informal or not) get some money for giving their time, then I think that is a good thing.

Don't forget there are overheads including hiring the building etc.

Take it for what it is.... An informal training day for less than the cost of a job...

Lighten up...  ;D ;D

Can anyone get me a price on a 1000+ page website please, oh with ongoing SEO thrown in and social media advertising blogs etc..., full hosting for 2 years and every time someone has a problem like logging in or other problems with passwords etc, i can have tech help within 12 hours. just a ball park figure would do.

So, you intend on 'pocketing' the surplus? Ok, just wondered....

What Derek has done over the past few years to get this off the ground has to be admired. Profits from the day (which won't be much) he is very welcome to it..... a very small payback for the amount of investment he has put in to date.
If you can do better than you are more than welcome to try.

Well said paul, I've been saying that for ages, I know how much Derek has put into all of this with no return for himself, I said he should take out what he's put in, but I also know full well that he won't do that, ANY surplus, I know he will reinvest in to tacca to make it bigger and better!

Why are you so bothered, you're not going so your money isn't going where you don't want it to. If everyone who has bought a ticket feels they had great value for money (which i'm sure they will) and isn't bothered where the ticket money goes then why is that your issue?
