In the process of building my own website and now at stage of sorting out digital images.

I can buy them off istock for a few quid but does anyone know a decent site for free ones ?

For pity's sake - just get out your camera!!!


Its better for the look of your site, sells your services better & sets you apart from those who re-use the same stock photo's over & over.

Stock photo's rarely look good on a sole traders website, the only window cleaner I know who used stock photo's & made it look good is John Nolan,.. but he's running a far bigger business than most of us!

JD has done a brill job with his photo's here - showing his face, him on the glass, his van etc,  the customer subconsciously feels more comfortable phoning someone when they know what you look like, so it really is worth the effort: http://www.jdwindowcleaningservices.co.uk/

Most of the photo's are his own,.. but there are still a couple of stock photo's in there if you look close!  http://nolanscleaning.co.uk/

too true just not got any of my own at moment so only temp until ive got some decent shots .... took a few over the years but crap standard ... maybe scan ebay for a decent used camera
