a guy called keith who my friend started out with two years ago had his van stolen today in liverpool whilst cleaning a house hes had it stolen whilst wfpoling from it with his house keys and van keys in the door and his book of customers in the van so warning do not leave van keys in the van whilst working he now has the worry that they may target his house as his address is prob in the van somewhere he may have his system ripped out insurance may now be void

My policy states they will not pay out if the key is left in the van. Hope your mate gets it back in one peice. He should change his locks at home today.

i always lock the front of my van and take my keys with me as standard practice every time i reel out my hose from the back of my van.

im sorry but some guys have no common sense.

still feel bad for him though. :( :(

hope he gets it back in one piece.

Rough. Bad times. He best not tell insurence company that keys were in ignition or he wil get didley squat.

i dont know the guy to be honest with you i was just posting it to warn people it is stupid of him especially in liverpool as from what i believe he works some rough areas.

He leaves his keys in his van door while working in Liverpool!   :-\

They probably took the wheels off and left the van somewhere

I'm sure that had shell suit trackys and
Permed mullets  as well...

one of the advantages of owning an old van is people dont want nothing to do with it i still lock it but on the odd time i do leave the keys in if im just doing a fast front where the van 10 foot away from me on on the drive and only on a back street , im gona have to lock up even there after hearing this what a nightmare  :(
hope your mate gets everything sorted best way he can...

if its the guy im thinking of i think it was a big old transit mwb hi roof possibly royal blue colour unless hes changed

im not to certain where the keys were left think my mate said in the van door

i always leave my keys in the van, with sunglasses and most of the time mobile phone, it is very safe here in East Devon  :)

funny that because i walked past your van in bebington in the summer and two lads where cleaning windows at back house with your van keys left in the ignition and the window down! .. could have had it off in seconds
