850 kg
then there is no way I would but a 650 in it with a frame it weights over. 700kg add pumps and 2 reels 50kg  (I weigh 98kg ) so that leaves 2kg for fuel poles and everything else people take in a van

I would go 500 no more and that's one person

Hi,
Yes we have one, its the mrs van it only has a 350ltr upright tank and it doesn't know it's in.
I think it's heavy on fuel compared to my berlingo but its a lot sturdier van.

A 650 litre tank doesn't hold 650 litres, it's strapped down and all that's in the van is 1 x 25 clx, 100 m micro bore on reel, leisure battery and pump, small telescopic ladder and that's all they have in, my vans are single operator vehicles as well, admittedly they are on the limit at the start of each day but that obviously decreases as water is used

This van is a T220LWB which is the same size as the T230LWB. The L220 has a 825kg payload and the L230 a 900kg payload.

do the maths matey, what you do is none of my business nor am i picking fault, but the maths say that a 650l tank is to big for this van. This was the op question on whats the biggest tank 650 IMO is too big.

I do though quite like the idea of getting one of these for one man 500 is plenty for a days work

I don't need to do the maths, my van filled to where we fill it with half a tank of diesel and its driver weighs 2180 kg, had it weighed at my local weigh bridge

to where you fill it ?

I do not know the limit of your van, but if the payload is what was put the maths say its over the limit (just) but just is to much.

My gvw is 2200 kg and we fill the tank about 2-3 inches from the top and the vehicle weighs with driver and water 2180 kg, so it's under

why do you fill inches from the top ?

Cos when going round corners sometimes the lid use to leak slightly so we started to do this and it helped, we don't use 650 a day but the 650 tank fits in better

Got a 230 with a 500l upright. Handles it comfortably.

Been a superb wee van.
