i had 1.6, and no it was not good..... 2009 38k miles spent first 2 weeks in and out of garage with minor but annoying probs , electronic, radio, heater, horn etc then the clutch started juddering so swapped for transit, had no issues with transit other than im getting 30 mpg compared with 39 with the pooproen.
this is only my experiance and know few on here that have had good citroens but i would never buy another....

I have the old shape dispatch but have heard there being various problems/recall issues with the new shape. Also heard though that the new shape peugeot expert is OK and does not have the same type of problems.

Identical van, identical mechanics and electronics, made in the same factory on the same production line in France - only difference is grill and badges. Scudo identical van but with Fiat Multijet engine and Fiat grill and badges.

The best van reviews are for the Toyota Hiace, a basic van but runs forever. Not sure if it would be big enough though, but will have a look at one .

Almost all bad reviews seem to be for the 1.6, the 2.0 seems fine. I've had mine since July and hasn't missed a beat. 2007 with 106000 on the clock.

Someone on here a while back posted about problems they had with self-levelling suspension on the new dispatch and that they had to replace the suspension pump twice and was told by dealer it was not designed to cope with the movement of water in their 650l tank.

Not sure if all models have self-levelling suspension or if the expert does.

I believe the engine and gearbox are identical in the dispatch and expert. Is everything else the same though - particularly electrics?

transit has been very good. although im thinking of moving back to a landrover soon as i can.
nothing compares to a landrover for reliability and abuse it can take

if you get a transit go for the 85ps version as it doesnt have dual mass flywheel, these have a tendancy to go pop every 20-30k miles if abused,
