Just wondering what everyone else is covered for, mine is 2 million which has been fine for years, was approached by NewLook today and they requested 5 million cover...seems a bit excessive??

have had 5 million for years, two million is nothing these days, may upgrade that on renewal too

Had 5 million for a bit now, most larger commercials are asking for it nowadays,

Aye, compensation culture and all that....just curious, customers/contractors have asked to see proof of P/L, but never had any figure specified...will look into it, cheers ;D

5 mil seems to be the minimum these days. I don't think the difference in cost between 2 and 5 mil cover is that great.

Agree, £5M is what most large businesses are asking for, the addition on the premium should not be a great deal different.

Should not be as expensive as that i payed about £120 last year for 5 mill not including damage to property worked upon . Mike

But you got employers insurance too tho! That puts it up alot

Mine is straight P/l insurance for 2 workers, no employers liability.

So you have public liability for 2guys but no employers liability for the other worker??

Yes, the other worker is a partner, so I have no employees.

why no employers you have that seperate ?
