AWORKA
« on: January 01, 2013, 02:59:39 pm »
Hi All,

I'm just playing around with the 6 week trial of Aworka...

If I import my current George data will Aworka auto schedule each job for me on the same date that it's currently scheduled in George?

Thanks,
Andy

Set up two accounts and test what you want to do with one of the two that can be dispensed once the trial period is over.

Save the other account for when you do go over to Aworka full time and are paying for it.

Use the 'contact' button to contact Chris at Aworka, he is extremely helpful and quick to respond.
"Thank you for calling: if you have a 1st floor flat, mid terraced house, lots of dogs, no parking, no side access, or no sense of humour, please press hold!
For all other enquiries, please press1"

Ian I havent used any other progrmas so cant compare, but for me it ticks every box I could want. It can be used when offline as well, you just sync at the end of the day when home.

Yes that's what happened here. In my case I was starting from scratch and typed into a spreadsheet key info, then emailed it to Chris. i have to say that it has given me so much more power to organis my round, but I just used a pen and a diary before. I honestly don 't know how I managed. Just one huge advantage is that I now have a system for mnaging debts and marking payments received.

I have noting to compare it with and I love it.... But.....

The mobile app if that is what I have is lacking functionality. You can only look at today's, yesterday's and tomorrow's jobs which means if you are ahead or behind schedule you can't see your work and you end up blind at times to what work you ar supposed to be doing. You can't add jobs or schedule with it either.

Steve if you have an IPhone and download the Skyfire app open Aworka in it, its just a browser but you dont lose any formatting with Skyfire; it opens as if you are using it on your pc.

Cheers. I have a Galaxy S2. I find it really annoying the way you are forced to use limited functionality mobile versions so if there was some way around this with Android, I would find that useful.

Hey steve sed .

I run aworka in my browser on my s2 and also my note 2
Press the left touch button and scroll down to desktop view also change the url to aworka.com
Instead of the mobile url and you should be good to go .

This is how I run it .

Also if you go on www.full.aworka.com that will give you full functionality fom the app.

I can't wait for there to be a fully functional app with all of the same features as the main site though!
