I'll celebrate tomorrow with a nice long New Years Day run, followed by loads of food!

Gone are the days when I'd drink my weight in alcohol and then wake up with no wallet, no watch, missing a shoe and covered in blood and spend New Years Day suffering with a hangover that'd kill a normal person.

I know you make a lot of this alcoholism, Tosh, but it does sound like you were in a bad shape.  I also 'know' that a few of us on here over drink, and I'm no exception, from time to time, but for God's sake, why are you alive still?

The rest of us muddle through it, we do a bit too much, probably, but I doubt we are on the edge of death as you describe it.  No wallet... no shoe etc.  What's going on?
