I always try to use prices increases to level out my price range. i.e. stick £2 on under-priced work, £1 on work I am happy with and 50p on over-priced work. That is probably not the best business practice but it works for us.

Usually after a price increase we lose a few customers, this is to be expected. As long as your overall value increases it matters not a jot whether you lose a couple or not.

Every other March thru to May .... £1 maybe £2 ........ do it an area at a time

Only ever lost 2 but I was happy to see em go as 1 had bought a dog and nice garden turnrd into a dog toilet and the other expected conny glass roof to be done in the price and was a constant bone of contention when I wouldnt do it.

Same here - customers go up every other year - increase depends on size of house approx 10% ( rounded up to the nearest 50p or quid )

yeah - had one of these too thought 12 quid for a 4 bed + conny would have included the roof panels  ::)

About 20% on domestic and about 15% on commercial if not contracted.
We will loss about 1-2% of domestic customers per year due to increase prices.
