Hi just had a we problem with my Prochem  Steempro 2000  machine it had kept blowing fuses so had a look inside checked all the usual things ie internal wiring etc after a few hours found it was the shurflo pump this was new pump fitted last march as the old pump that had lasted around 3years gave up on the diaphragm so I had order two new pumps form my local suppler at a cost of £367.00 for both of them. I contacted the suppler to say about the warranty as it was under a year old and was told is only has 3months warranty as it wasn’t the original pump fitted to the machine I am very disappointed to say the least as the last pump had lasted so long he them informed me that this is a common fault with the new pumps (End bell brushes) with carbon build up so would have to order the new part at £45.00 + vat was thinking about getting a new machine as I have lost faith in Prochem that I have used over the last 15years. Was looking at the AIRFLEX  STORM  machine but can’t seem to see any spare parts on eBay etc as I live on an Scottish island I always try to keep spares for the equipment can anyone say if they are reliable??

Why do you need to get them from ebay? Just buy them from Matt (Cleansmart, the makers of the airflex). Just buy the a pumphead replacement parts kit (around £40 odd quid) and a vac motor (around £140 for the new 6.6s). Buy them before they need replaced so you dont lose out on days of work.

The airflex is also very easy to maintain and to replace parts yourself.

yes, cleansmart have good customer service. Like most suppliars everything is sent via courier and arrives next day free if you order more than £80.
I used to have the steampro and the induction pumps in high spec extractors (like the airflex) last longer than  shurflo pump.

3 months warrenty is standard i'm afraid.

I don't think there is much comparison with the Steampro and the Storm, as the later is in a different league.  When i first started I looked at the Prochem range and then opted for the Airflex Pro which i was very happy with. I now have the Storm which I have had since March and am very happy with, very powerful, not had any reliability problems but Matt at Cleansmart is always very helpful when ever i have had contact with him.  Like others have said you can just order the parts direct from Cleansmart.
