How much for these guys...54 flats 3 x blocks on a 8 weekly maintenance clean, there are patio doors set back on each flat,so provisions would have to be made with residents when there in to do balcony's

2 x a year with cherry picker for a deep clean

Could really do with getting this one!!! ;)

Did they say that the patio doors have to be done, because I have a contract with a similar set up and they told me not to worry about them as residents can clean them themselves.

Yes they want the doors done as well Richard as most of the residents and elderly!

customers to be in?......that would put me off straight away(i would decline, but thats me)
you could just break down into how much to do one flat,£7.00? what ever the rate is were you are and then times by the number of flats and then add all the bits on
good luck pricing it

that will be a hard one, as people are not in all at the same time, and you cant climb over to do them. so there is no safe way to do the, or you will be going back all the time to try and get people in to do them.

When you say a cherry picker...

Why?  ???

Plus, do you know the weight of a powered access machine? They will not operate on grass.

exactly this.

you could price it and specify the exact dates it will be done throughout the year.
get the management co to notify them of this and put up a sheet in the entrance hall any resident not available that day gets missed.
you will never get them all in everytime...

i do 3 the same

good luck with that, you will have to make sure that the gound all around can take the weight of one, there might be a lot of drain pipes that are just under the surface that you could break if you go over them with weight,

some drains are less than a foot under the ground, go over them and you could run a bill in the £1000's to fix them!

plus if the ground is soft then you will have to board out under it to make sure it dont sink into the mud.

wfp is the only way that you would be able to go on this, or rope access from the roof.

regarding them having to be in, the best way is to give them two chances (this is why it has to be priced well for you).  get them to put a note in reception (or whatever way they use to talk to their residents) saying youll be there monday and friday afternoon or whatever.
you cant do more than that, youre giving them two chances to be in.  the person you're giving the quote to should be fine with that as if you did have to do every single one you would be there all week

hope you get it but dont count your chickens before they hatch!, i would exclude the balconeys in your price
how did you get to quote it is it someone who lives in there and you do one of them? i had priced up 2 big estates both were members on the board or whatever long emails back and forth in the end nothing 2 monthls passed before i got an answer.....;D

id rather do a £6 front then quote one up again ill only give a price if i get full pictures emailed i wont be going out agian i spent like half a day on each site working things out, speaking to them

domestic is the way at least you get a yes or a no in 5 seconds..
