Today's tips totaled £82.00, and a box of roses choclates  :D

hmmmmm I have come to 2 conclusions with Christmas tips and my customers

1. They ALL hate me and I do a crap job

or

2.  They all think f cuk me he's expensive ... not giving him a tip AS WELL !!!

Im the same.
I oy got £5 and tin of quality street.
I dont tend to spend time chinwagging with custies though.

We always do quite well. Must have got about £250+ so far, box of roses, crate of carling and 2 bottles of homemade cider  :D

SAME WITH ME
i put it down to most customers paying by standing orders or BACS so never really see them.
and i think some people dont really tip until Xmas is right on top of them

if it was number 1 they would have cancelled long ago

number 2 sounds the best option !

I got a £20 tip from a £2.50 job (ground floor OAP flat). Cheap, I know, but I like the work.

£6 today but i finished early.

down a lot on tips this year.due to recession i reckon as well as me putting up prices for the 3 rd year running and turning up in a sports car to collect so my customers know i have 2 vehicles!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

i reckon quite a few of my customers are struggling a bit due to higher cost of living and wages not keeping pace with it.

my tips currently stands at £212 and a tin of choccie biscuits!! ;D ;D ;D


better than nothing i suppose!

Today i got a bottle of wine (Even tho i dont drink) and about £40.00. Pick up about £120 - 130 last week

I do ok on tips although i would say about 50 percent have gave a tip.im dearer than anyone round my way so not too fussed about tips and tbh i try my best not to chat to custys too much as time is money.
Takings off all first cleans till march 7th 2014
October  total=  cleaned  extra per month
November = cleaned extra per month
Total £  so far.
