Anyone work for them?Seem to be bloody slow payers, anyone else had trouble?
Head office, not that bothered but sure as eggs they will phone again before Christmas. Started in October and have never actually been paid yet. 800k+ houses.
why do you guys put yourselves thru this,maybe i am small minded(in turns of growth ) i would stick to residential
They asked you do get your Cscs card and pay your self?Obviously their your staff and your responsibility to pay for their traing plus it cost about £20 not exclay breaking the bank

'cos when you take them on you don't know they are dreadful payers, plus you could pick up the majority of the estate as new people move in.
I used to run a bricklaying company and worked for most of these companies.If you dont make a fuss you sit at the bottom of the pile.What might seem like over over the top is the best way to get paid early.I always said I wanted 14 day payments regardless of the 30 day terms and they always paid.If they dont pay on time start small claims as its not worth letting them use you as free credit overdraft. They will always pay when the court letter arrives. No more work from them but there are plenty more building companies out there just like plenty more windies.They are used to the grief and holding back payments. Some think its funny but not so funny when you turn up at the head office and refuse to leave until a cheque is in your hand.
