Frozen pipes
«

Hi
I have run a pipe from the back of my house to the front of my house of which is also lagged and it has frozen this evening.
Is there anything else i can do to stop the hose pipe freezing apart from lagging it.
I cant remove the pipe everyday as there is about 6 inches between the 2 houses and it was a bugger getting it down there to start.
What does everbody else do ?
Merry xmas cliff

at the back of the house have the pipe set up high about 2m of the ground, then the other end on the floor at the front, then when you finish using the pipe, take ends off and empty water out of it.

Use a hose when its freezing.
Tie a rope on to the hose then pull it out.
Untie the rope and take the hose inside when not using.
Leave the rope to pull the hose back when needed.

I second that. It wouldn't be the same without him.
