Thing is you don't seem to have that totally barren period during January and March like you used to. January tends to be quite busy now.

Until earlier this year I thought I was going to get through the recession scot free, Last year was great.

New business is down, regulars are still spending the same.

Its made me appreciate my regular clients more.

George Osbourne has extending his austerity forecast to 2018 but considering he's missed every target he's set himself so far we have no reason to believe this time will be any different.

Slightly changing tack, I had a woman call today saying "what's your best price on a suite to be cleaned" I started to humour her a little by asking what it was etc she re stated that she was looking for a 'good price' then I pulled out of the bag "when are you wanting this doing?", "this Friday" she says, I says " not a chance but can get you in for January" now I know a lot of customers don't know it's a busy time and that some want cheap but the tone of this woman wanted me to torment her even more but I was a little busy cleaning my 3rd suite of the day so had gotten a little board and my mind was wandering a little.

Three suites in one day :o that's sounds like hell

2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th January booked up. So much for cutting back on the Saturdays  ???
Best booking made this week.  "A week in Santorini in May" helping to bail out the Greek economy.  :)
If there isn't enough time to do the job right,  how do we find the time to go back and do it again when the customer is not happy ?   Do it right the 1st Time.

Santorini is amazing.  You'll not want to leave.
And it's not cheap either.

Last time I went there I came in on the ferry.
Amazing ride up the cliffs from ferry port.

Carpet and Upholstery cleaning wise been an ok year, but overall down on last year though but not by a large amount.

Going to be doing alot more marketing next year as I'm keen on getting another van on the road something i've wanted to do for ages!

Talking about holidays, I'm going to Marrakech (at a resort  :o ) and Miami again this year.  Cant wait!
