That is a crazy amount of money for what you need. I think the guy on here is called 'Nat'. I've seen some of his stuff and it looks good and his prices seem fair.

That's crazy money! I don't doubt at that price it comes with some impressive features,... But for a window cleaner most are prob no needed.

Drop me an email if you want,.. I do sites from about £350 and know the cleaning business inside out too! info@avondhu-internet.com  ;D

Try Phil at discoverysquare.co.uk.  He's a mate of mine and is brilliant. Tell him Steve sent ya.  He did my solar website. Top of first page of google for many search terms and it only went live in June. Solar is competitive on google at the moment too.

This thread reminds me of those links to other forums where folk are discussing window cleaners, and they all say:

"Wow he charges £20? what a cheeky sod!"

"That's way over the odds.  I only pay £1.50. what a rip off"

And we all go mad because we want a decent wage for the work we do.  Now we are doing the same to web designers!

My dad's mate got a top-class web design company to do his website for him and it cost in the region of £5,000.  Nothing wrong with that at all, it looks really superb and you have to pay if you want excellent design.

Just like us, there are web designers at the top end and the lower end, and yes its true a window cleaning business may not need the same high-level web design as other businesses, its not right to criticise a top-class company for charging accordingly.

Just IMO

sub £100 for mine (not live yet), preferential rate for members of my local trade club annual membership which includes vip membership to post ads to their facebook group.

Some of the others this chap has done are nice and slick so I'm confident that mine will be satisfactory too.

Studio Arts are unbeatable for the price -  but they are very basic & miss a few tricks. Personally I'd think that spending a little more would prob mean a site that brings in more work.

I emailed the chap and said I was grateful for his quote but I only had Northern Premier Leauge money and not Premier Leauge money.

He replied wishing me luck on the project and openly admitted he was the most expensive web comp in the area.
