I wouldn't be surprised if it was down to the equipment, but indirectly.

When people see pipes and steam and hear lots of noise, they automatically think 'Wow, that's a clean!'.
When they see a Dry Fusion or similar, they think 'That's what I used to use to clean the supermarket aisles..'
And come to the conclusion that it can't be cleaning very well - then they reinforce their own belief by seeing the carpet get dirty 'quickly'.

you been cleaning a lot of italian restaurants ash?

Eating too much pizza more like.

PM - sorry to have to mention it but you walked into that one with your eyes open mate - its a bit of a red-rag to a bunch of bulls to say 'a custy's carpet got dirty quick' when you used what some would say was a non-standard system in this situation i.e blacktop

funny that johnguerkink the holy trinity man hasn't waded into this thread! (yet)

BTW I saw he was called for starting a similar thread to the one he started here on one of the US sites and got some similarly sceptic responses on there as he got here
