GB Window Cleaning

broken pump

Evening folks of c.i.u,

So good news today, ive broken my pump  :) splendid! i was moving some furniture for a friends today and as i was stackingthe things into the back of the van ive managed to brake teh connection peice thingy!

To be more precise i have a sureflo 100psi pump, ive broke the black plastic end! if that makes sense? the end the 1/2 inch hoses plug into!

So can i buy that new plastic end and replace it or do i need to buy a whole new pump? thanks for reading my boring post about yet another broken effing pump or tds levels over 10ppm lol  8)

I found a part on someones website for £71.00 + VAT

Suggest you buy a new pump for less than that

This has happened a couple of times to me over the years.

You can either...

A, Bodge it up with a bit of pipe tightly fitting inbetween the 2 broken bits...It does work fine.

B, Same as above but with a pice of metal tube with the same diameter as the hole, Also works fine but more of a permanent fix than above.

C, Replace the cap end...£36-odd last time I bought one.

thanks for the advice mate! so where can i buy a replacment cap end?
