Evening folks of c.i.u,So good news today, ive broken my pump splendid! i was moving some furniture for a friends today and as i was stackingthe things into the back of the van ive managed to brake teh connection peice thingy! To be more precise i have a sureflo 100psi pump, ive broke the black plastic end! if that makes sense? the end the 1/2 inch hoses plug into!So can i buy that new plastic end and replace it or do i need to buy a whole new pump? thanks for reading my boring post about yet another broken effing pump or tds levels over 10ppm lol Gb
This has happened a couple of times to me over the years. You can either...A, Bodge it up with a bit of pipe tightly fitting inbetween the 2 broken bits...It does work fine.B, Same as above but with a pice of metal tube with the same diameter as the hole, Also works fine but more of a permanent fix than above.C, Replace the cap end...£36-odd last time I bought one.
